The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the Dallas Children’s Theater

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,
April 3 – May 15, 2022
This show is recommended for ages 7 and up.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, one of the most celebrated children’s books in children’s comes to the Dallas Children’s Theater on April 3, 2022.

Join the young adventurers Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy as they step through a not-so-ordinary wardrobe and into the mythical land of C.S. Lewis’s Narnia.

As they face fantastical creatures and fierce battles in the heart and on the land, the four siblings must find the courage to battle the treacherous White Witch in order to end the deadly eternal winter in the beautiful forest. Guided by the all-knowing Lion, Aslan, these discoverers learn to cast aside their own fears to find the heroes within themselves.

Ticket Prices: Adult  $21, Youth  $19, and  Senior  $17

Tickets can be purchased online for performances from April 3 – May 15, 2022.

Thornton Wilder’s Our Town

The Dallas Theater Center will present Our Town, one of the most beloved American plays ever written. The play written by Thornton Wilder follows the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, and eventually marry.

The Performing Arts are Back at Dallas Summer Musicals!

Dallas Summer Musicals starts out the new year with Hadestown, at the Winspear Opera House, January 18- 30.

Intertwining the mythical tales of Orpheus and Eurydice, and of King Hades and Persephone, Hadestown draws you into a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Celebrated singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell’s beguiling melodies heighten the poetic imagery against themes of the industrial versus nature, doubt versus faith, and fear versus love.

Something Grim(m) is happening at the Dallas Theater Center

Something Grimm
March 18 – April 4, 2021

A creative journey inspired by Grimm’s fairy tales takes place around the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. This unique outdoor tale opens on March 18! 

This production will include comic strips, pop-up storybooks, as well as pre-recorded video and audio elements. It culminates in a unique moment at the end requiring each audience member to make a moral choice based on the impact of the fairytale they have just witnessed. Something Grim(m) was created specifically for this cast and this location. The varied storytelling components and guiding narrative make for a truly distinctive experience.
