An Evening Under the Stars at the Dallas Arboretum

Don’t miss this evening of music overlooking White Rock Lake on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. The Dallas Arboretum and The Dallas Opera join forces to present “An Evening Under the Stars” on  Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14, from 7-8 p.m.

The Dallas Opera presents rising young artists and members of The Dallas Opera Orchestra and Chorus for a night of opera favorites under the stars. Hosted by Ian Derrer, The Dallas Opera’s Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO, guests will hear a specially curated collection of arias and songs.

You and your family can enjoy their dinner by the lake and raise a glass to the end of summer with the sweet sounds of Gershwin, Offenbach, Mozart and more. 

The gates will open at 6 p.m., and you are welcome to bring a picnic, or you can purchase food from a variety of local food trucks that will be located at the event.

The performance will be approximately one hour with no intermission.

Tickets for this event are now on sale. Be sure to order your tickets early, performances are expected to sell out. 

Tickets for this event range from $10-$25 and include parking: adult member: $20; child member (2-12 years old): $10; adult guest: $25; child guest (2-12 years old): $12.
