The Trains at NorthPark has been a holiday favorite for generations of Dallasites. The elaborate exhibit includes 1600 feet of track rolling from coast to coast on a whimsical rail journey across America.

The Trains travel from the autumn foliage of New England to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, with stops along the way to see New York City, Washington DC. Then on to our beautiful city of Dallas and the desert Southwest including the Grand Canyon and the Garden of the Gods—we even have some interplanetary visitors from Outer Space!  More than 70,000 visitors are entertained each season.  

This holiday tradition encompasses more than 4,000 square feet of train-themed environments, with all the trimmings of the holiday train travel experience—steam engine and coach cars, a ticket booth, and a train station, as well as interactive features.

Hours: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 12 pm to 6 pm  Exhibit Closed:  Christmas Day
Early Closings:
Christmas Eve: 10 am-4 pm, New Year’s Eve: 10 am to 4 pm, New Year’s Day: 11 am to 6 pm

Tickets

$10.00 for adults
$5.00 for children (ages 2 – 12) and senior citizens (age 65 and older) 
Children under 2 admitted free.

​All tickets provide admission to the Trains at NorthPark on any day that we are open. A reservation is not required, and they are not specific to any date/time. All proceeds from ticket sales go to helping families at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.

PADDINGTON SAVES CHRISTMAS

It’s holiday time in the Brown household, and Paddington — the beloved bear in the red hat, is here to save the day. When he and the Brown’s housekeeper, Mrs. Bird, run out of sugar for the seasonal marmalade jam they are preparing, Paddington heads next door to borrow some from the neighbor, Mr. Curry.

Bur, the grumpy Mr. Curry is even more grumpy than usual. When the good-natured Paddington offers to help Mr. Curry with his chores, chaos ensues, leading to n an unexpected outcome! Watch Paddington try to fix everything in time for everyone to celebrate the holidays?

The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Musical

With an original story and score, dazzling sets, and costumes, this joyous and uplifting celebration will leave audiences captivated by the splendor of the season.

Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas

With a captivating story of family and friendship set to timeless holiday music by Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey, and Tchaikovsky, the Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas will delight the whole family.
