AC Hotel by Marriott® downtown is launching the AC Lounge Summer Series beginning in June. From pop-up shops and art demonstrations to yoga classes and live music, the AC Lounge Summer Series welcomes locals and visitors alike to enjoy Dallas culture, cuisine, and cocktails.
AC Lounge Bar Manager Chris Unruh has created an entertaining list of tastings with brand representatives, educational classes, interactive experiences, and holiday-themed cocktails for guests to enjoy.

June Events at the AC Hotel
The second week of June (June 4-10) marks the beginning of Negroni Week, an international charity event sponsored by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, where bars and restaurants all over the world celebrate the cocktail known as the Negroni, a classic Italian cocktail made with Campari, sweet vermouth, and gin.
AC Lounge at the AC Hotel – Downtown Dallas is proud to participate in Negroni Week and will be donating $1 of every drink to Trigger’s Toys, which serves children who require extended medical assistance in the DFW area. Unruh created three variations of the Negroni to feature during this special week including:
- Red Light Negroni, named after the famous Red Light District in Amsterdam, made with Genièvre, a Dutch-style gin, and will be served in a festive lightbulb glass ($12)
- inspired by the hotel’s Spanish origin, the Spanish Negroni features a Spanish gin ($13)
- the timeless Traditional Negroni ($11)
Bowtie Pop-Up Shop
BowTie Mike, the winner of the 2017 Accessories in the Nude designer competition, will be hosting a pop-up shop right before Father’s Day on Wednesday, June 6, from 5 PM – 8 PM. The pop-up will feature a wide selection of the luxury bow ties available for sale, and BowTie Mike will be demonstrating the creation of his bow ties onsite. The free event welcomes the public to find the perfect, one-of-a-kind gift for dad.
