Dallas Arboretum Announces Adult Programs for Fall 2016

Dallas Arboretum fall adult programsThe Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden has announced its Fall 2016 Adult Programs, sponsored by Full Color Inc., featuring a variety of expert-led special interest classes for adults. This year’s line-up includes horticulture, landscape, photography, art, tastings, day trips and more, all available for registration online.

We are proud to be the sponsor for this fall’s Adult Programs at the Dallas Arboretum,” says Paul Fuller, chairman of Full Color. “With this collaboration, we are able to help bring the Arboretum’s grown students new, unique classes.

Classes are offered at various days and times in a range of formats and settings, including demonstrations and lectures. They begin at $30 for members, with costs for each class including parking and admission to the garden. Some classes also offer continuing professional education (CPE) credit for educators.

Joy Matthews, Dallas Arboretum’s Adult Programs and Special Projects Manager, stated “Adult Programs allow students to connect with the garden and friends in a unique and special setting, which many often think is limited to children. This fall, a few classes we are really looking forward to include the Chefs in Nature Series, which combines cooking and cocktails in a garden atmosphere, and our wine and movies program with Gary and Hayley Cogill. We love using Dallas’ most beautiful classroom to bring these programs to the community.”

Those coming for Wednesday evening classes can also enjoy treats from food truck Kona Ice on-site for Nature Nights, when the entire garden is kept open late through October 19.
