Hangman’s Prom Party Celebrates Opening of “Carrie” with a Bucket of Blood

Hangman’s House of Horrors, in partnership with MGM and Screen Gems, invites you to Hangman’s Prom Party this Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.  To celebrate the opening weekend of the movie Carrie, a reimagining of Stephen King’s  classic  horror  tale, Hangman’s  invite you and your ‘prom date’  to participate in a real-life Prom Party,  featuring the requisite “Bucket of Blood.”

Best Tacky Prom Look Contest

Carrie-2013You are invited to wear your  Tackiest Prom Attire to receive $10 off admission to the Prom Party and to tour Hangman’s three haunted attractions.  The “Best Tacky Prom Look Contest” will kick off at 10:00 p.m. with the first 20 entrants receiving an official Carrie t-shirt.  The “People’s Choice” winner will receive loads of prizes and be drenched  with a Bucket of Blood!  Dance the night away with high energy techno deejays, and spin the Wheel for movie passes and prizes!

This year, Hangman’s Prom Party celebrates its 25th Anniversary and FINAL season as the top charity-benefiting haunted house in the world!  The house has entertained over half a million patrons and donated almost $2 million to local charities!  The annual production involves over 1000 adult volunteers and 200 companies who contribute time, talent and supplies to this tremendously successful endeavor.

The haunted tour includes three separate attractions: the creepy retelling of classic scary tales in Hangman’s House of Horrors, the vibrant 3D Wonderland and the all-new Zombie Outbreak!

Hangman’s is located at Interstate 30 and North Forest Park Boulevard, one mile west of downtown Fort Worth.  The house is open every Friday and Saturday evening through November 2 and  nightly October 27-31.

Net proceeds from Hangman’s House of Horrors benefit five outstanding, local charities, all of which are non-profit 501c-3 organizations. Hangman’s beneficiaries are the American Cancer Society, A Wish with Wings, Cenikor Foundation, Rocky Top Therapy Center and SafeHaven of Tarrant County. All funds remain in the area for local programs and services.
