1% of Whole Foods Grand Opening Proceeds to the Heard

Shop the new Whole Foods of Fairview on November 1st, and 1% of the proceeds will to go the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. The Heard will be outside the store with animals to educate and provide shoppers with details about the museum including events, exhibits, education programs, summer camps and more. Thank you to Whole Foods Market at Fairview for inviting the Heard to participate in their Grand Opening.

Holiday Trail of Lights

Tired of the mall? Bundle up your family, get out of the car and experience the most unique holiday lighting display in North Texas. Enjoy the 2nd annual Heard Holiday Trail of Lights. See thousands of holiday décor and lights-many synchronized to holiday music-for a ½ mile along the Heard nature trails. Take photos with Father Christmas and Mother Nature in a festive, decorated cabin also along the trail. Listen to live holiday music in the Heard outdoor amphitheater and enjoy hot beverages. Star Party with Dr. David Baker
November 19, 6:30PM

$5 adults, $3 children ages 3-12

Geared toward families with kids, this night will be full of fun astronomy based activities. Dr. David Baker will present his new book “The 50 most extreme places in our Solar System”. Then families will have the opportunity to star gaze with real telescopes and volunteers that can share stories about the constellations.
