Celebrating July 4th in Dallas – Fort Worth

It just wouldn’t be the 4th of July without fireworks and a parade. Besides fireworks, there are concerts, apple pie and a whole bunch of other fun stuff going on this holiday weekend. Take a look at these Independence Day celebrations, starting June 30th through July 4th:

Fireworks, Parades, and Concerts Celebrating July 4th

Addison Kaboom Town!   Celebrate Independence Day at Addison Kaboom Town! with a fantastic party in the 12-acre Addison Circle Park.  Enjoy an incredible Addison Airport Air Show, 30-minute fireworks show, and a high-energy concert on the Budweiser Stage.

Crape Myrtle Festival & Parade  *Fun fact–did you know that Waxahachie is the Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas? After the parade, head to Getzendaner Park for an old-fashioned picnic. There will be free hot dogs, snow cones bounce houses and a Wiffle Ball home run derby.

Lone Stars & Stripes Celebration  Celebrate America at Lone Star Park on July 3rd and 4th for live racing, live music by Vegas Stars and a Family Fun Park with bounce houses, face painters, tattoo artists, pony rides, a petting zoo and much more from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. After the races conclude, stick around to enjoy world-class fireworks show choreographed to music.

Fair Park Fourth   Celebrate your love for America with a day of family fun and fireworks at Fair Park Fourth, Wednesday, July 4, 2018. FREE and open to the public, Fair Park Fourth will feature patriotic performances, musical entertainment, concession stands, and a spectacular firework show at approximately 9:37 p.m

Garland’s Star-Spangled Spectacular FREE event at Firewheel Town Center with a full afternoon of family fun at the Star Spangled Spectacular event on Monday, July 3rd from 4 – 9 PM.

Grapevine’s 36th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza

Irving’s Independence Day Celebration.  The award-winning parade features floats, costumes, and custom vehicles. After the parade, cool off at the free watermelon reception and concert at Heritage Park.  Then head to Lake Carolyn for a free kid’s zone, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks show. Uncle Sam himself will be there,  so be sure to have your camera ready.

3rd Annual Viridian Stars and Stripes will take place July 1st! The independence day celebration will include live music performances, tasty food vendors, zip lining, rock climbing, fireworks and more…all overlooking Lake Viridian.
