Cuba & Immigration: The Last 50 Years

Fort Worth Opera, in partnership with The Sixth Floor Museum, continues its symposia series leading up to the new opera JFK with this panel discussion on U.S.-Cuba relations over the last 50 years, beginning with JFK’s decision to enforce a trade embargo against the country in 1962.

Panelists include:

  • Carlos Fonts, Native Cuban and Bay of Pigs Veteran
  • John Hernandez, President of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
  • Juan Hernandez, former advisor to Mexican President Vicente Fox
  • Jim Riddlesperger, TCU Presidential Scholar
