One of the most romantic places in Dallas now offers a delectable dining experience on the most loved holidays of the year. The Dallas Arboretum announces “Romance at the Arboretum,” an elegant candlelight dinner, on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the historic DeGolyer Estate Mansion at the garden.

The evening begins with champagne, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m., followed by a music performance from the Southern Methodist University’s woodwind quintet in the DeGolyer Library. At 8:00 p.m., guests can enjoy a candlelight dinner that includes roasted pheasant with Madeira sauce finished off with bittersweet chocolate torte. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden programs.
